I still felt like since they were showing my keypad with it, it had to be acceptable for exterior too. I have had this handle outside for 6 weeks - I know not long- but we have had some crazy weather and it still looks brand new. I will be surprised if I do have a problem. I promise to revise this review if I ever have a problem with the finish. It is April 4th, six months later, this lever is still looking brand new. I would buy again and put outside exterior again with out any hesistation!! They are sturdy and attractive. It was very easy to reverse the knob to switch from left-hand to right-hand. You basically push a small tool into a hole to pop off the handles and then switch them. My only complaint is that they did not come with an optional square-corner face plates for the area around the latch and the strike plate. I thought it was a great price. Ive had the handles for about a year now and have no issues. Very easy to install. The handle was heavier than the builder grade handles that gets put on most new homes. The extra weight of the handle makes it feel like it is better quality. I have replaced all the handles in the house with this handle. Definetely would recommend it to others. |
