We also replaced the other hardware; such as hinges, door stops, etc... at the same time. The results were amazing and it really made a huge difference in how our house looked. Two years later we decided to replace all the knobs upstairs and we had the same results. These look a lot better than the standard builder-grade knobs and they hold up a lot better too. These aren't the high-dollar solid knobs, but they do look good and they hold up great to abuse.
